Did Killswitch Engage Release a New Song Today? You Betcha!
Last night, Vince and I watched Killswitch Engage blow the roof off of Saint Vitus in Brooklyn. Their ridiculously-fun set included the live debut of yesterday’s freshly-released “Embrace the Journey… Upraised,” which sounds three times as heavy live as it does on the band’s new album, Incarnate.
Presumably, the band will debut this new song, “Quiet Distress,” when they play Manhattan’s Webster Hall tonight. And, presumably, it, too, will sound even better live. So enjoy this version now, and know there’s an even better version in your future:
Incarnate comes out March 11 on Roadrunner. The final two shows of the band’s current NYC residency are, like I said, tonight at Webster Hall, and then tomorrow at Rough Trade in Brooklyn. Their tour of the rest of North America starts next week; get dates here. Also, did you know that we did a video interview with vocalist Jesse Leach? You should watch it. K thanks.
