Sleep Announce a Handful of U.S. Shows

Seeing Sleep live is the concert equivalent to finding yourself floating in the water of Satan’s bong as he takes a massive tube right to the face. Slow, syrupy, and full of kinetic power, a Sleep performance is not to be missed.

So lucky for you, the band has announced a handful of US dates all over the country. The stoner gods will be out mostly with Windhand, though they’ll be playing this Friday with Neurosis (damn) and in August at Psycho Las Vegas alongside Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats, Pentagram, and Blue Oyster Cult (DAMN!). Between this and The Obsessed, I’d say it’s a damn good day for stoner metal!

To be fair, though we’ve labeled this as ‘Tour de Force’, there isn’t a cohesive tour schedule here outside of the five strung-together dates in June. Still, any opportunity to see Sleep is a good one.
