Nuclear Blast Takes a Ghost Bath
Wow! Can’t say I saw this coming: Ghost Bath, whose 2015 album Moonlover got a perfect 5/5 score here on MetalSucks, have signed with Nuclear Blast. That’s great news — NB can obviously can GB’s music to the masses with far greater ease than their previous label, Northern Silence. And, naturally, it seems Nuclear Blast aim to do just that: they’ll reissue Moonlover with a bonus track in June, giving the album its first official North American physical release (it’s already available digitally). According to the band’s mastermind, Nameless (no relation), the album is the first in a trilogy. So the other two, we can assume, will follow in the not-too-distant future. If they’re called Moonhater and Moonapathete, I will be so happy I may just explode.
To celebrate their new union, the band has released a video for the song “Golden Number.” It is, if I’m not mistaken, the longest music video produced since “November Rain.” It also features a bath, which I do not think is too on-the-nose.
