“Scorn”: Oracles (Aborted, Abigail Williams, Etc.) and the Pompatus of Love

Oracles is a new supergroup featuring three members of Aborted, two former members of System Divide, one former member of Abigail Williams, one former member of Dimlight, and Steve Miller.

The group has now released their debut single, “Scorn,” which you can stream below. If you’re hoping for something in the vein of Aborted, you’re gonna be disappointed. If you’re hoping for something in the vein of System Divide, you will be less disappointed. If you’re hoping for something that sounds like The Steve Miller band, you will be the least disappointed.

“Scorn” will appear on Orcles’ debut album, Miserycorde, which comes out July 1 on Deadlight. It is a concept album about someone who is understandably upset to learn that she is a character from the Star Wars prequels.
