Convulse Begin a “Cycle of Revenge”

In 2013, Convulse — surely one of the most underrated, overlooked death metal bands of their time — released Evil Prevails, their first album in twenty years. Luckily for us, it won’t be another twenty ’til Evil gets a follow-up: these fucknuts Finns will release their latest offering, Cycle of Revenge, in March. March! That’s practically next week!!!

Can’t wait ’til then to hear some new Convulse? Can’t say I blame you. So, grand news: the title track from Cycle of Revenge can now be streamed below. If the band’s 1991 classic, World Without God, you’ll probably be surprised to hear that this song is dreamier and less pummeling than Convulse’s old material. But it’s still heavy as a Rebel Wilson/John Goodman/Gabourey Sidibe fuck sandwich, so I don’t think you’ll mind.
