Officially Official: Classic Guns N’ Roses Members Reuniting for Coachella 2016

Update, 1/5/2014, 11 a.m.: It would appear that Chinese Democracy co-keyboardist Chris Pitman is indeed involved in the reunion (see tweet below). This lends more credence to the rumors that Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Dizzy Reed remain in the band.

 In case there was any doubt that the GN’R reunion was gonna happen… well…

As of this writing, neither original drummer Steven Adler nor his replacement, Matt Sorum, have the post on their respective Facebook pages (Adler, Sorum), and founding rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin has no Facebook page or Twitter account. So until further notice, assume rumors that Chinese Democracy-era members Richard Fortus (guitars) and Frank Ferrer (drums) are still in the line-up to be correct. There’s no word on whether or not longtime keyboard player Dizzy Reed also remains in the band, but I’d wager that he does.

Supposedly there’s also gonna be a summer stadium tour announced shortly.

There’s no way this could possibly live up to expectations. But I’d be lying through my teeth if I said I wasn’t excited. And yourselves?
