Gojira Promise New Album Coming in Spring 2016

Could it be? Yes… yes! After a piecemeal recoding process at their very own, brand new, NYC studio, Gojira — whose last album L’Enfant Sauvage came out in 2012 — appear very close to completing their next album. Or, if the “Spring 2016” release date it set in stone, they’ve likely already completed it. This is fantastic news!

The news of Gojira’s new album’s pending release comes at the very end of the below trailer. It’s only a minute long, but one of the video’s most interesting revelations is a quick shot of producer Will Putney around the 0:54 mark. We aren’t sure in what capacity he’s involved — be it as a producer or an engineer — but his association at all is quite encouraging, as it is on anything he works on. We’ve reached out for comment and will let you know.
