Megadeth To Tour North America with Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom, and Havok

Megadeth have announced that they’ll tour North America starting in February in support of their new album, Dystopia. Also on the bill: Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom, and Havok. So, it’s basically Gigantour without the Gigantour branding.

The big question, of course, is whether or not Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler will be playing with Megadeth. Adler’s presence would certainly compel a lot of people who are basically over Megadeth (e.g., me) to see the band live again, especially because this may be our only chance to do so. Metal Injection notes that Adler may actually be available for this trek, given that the latest Lamb of God tour (with Anthrax, Deafheaven, and Power Trip) concludes eight days before this one begins. You’ll know the answer as soon as we do.

Regardless, gotta say: so stoked for Havok! That band is awesome and they definitely stand to benefit the most from being a part of this package; their brand of neo-thrash should be right up Megadeth fans’ alley.
