Iron Maiden Make Headphones Ed-phones Now

Following in the tradition of Motörhead and probably some other old band I’m not thinking of right now, Iron Maiden now make their own branded headphones — or, rather, Ed-phones.

Cute.

Actually, I guess it’s pronounced Ed-phon-threes?

Silly name aside, the real question is, of course: will these be any good? They’re $300, which suggests that the answer is, “They had better be.” And they actually might be — while it would be easy for a band to just slap their logo on something and charge a twice the price of the regular edition, the aforementioned Motörhead earphones are actually really good. So hopefully the name of this product will be the only thing about it that really sucks.
