Motörhead Cancels German Gigs, Guitarist Phil Campbell Hospitalized

Man, 2015 has been a rough fucking year for Motörhead between Lemmy’s health issues and the death of founding drummer Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor. And sadly, it sounds like it’s not getting any better, as Loudwire reports that the band was forced to cancel their Berlin show on 11/27 due to the hospitalization of guitarist Phil Campbell. Blabbermouth says the band also had to cancel their Hamburg gig the next night.

The band posted the following to their Facebook:

Damn.

So, obviously the question is, with what? Did Phil, like Lemmy, have an infection, or a moment of faintness caused by Berlin’s climate? Has Phil been sick for some time and needed treatment? Are we talking B-12 shots or MRI scans?

In any vent, we wish Campbell a speedy recovery and the whole Motörhead team all the best.
