Textures Reach “New Horizons” with First Single Since 2011

High fives all around, friends!

Last month, Textures announced their first new album — actually, albums — since 2011’s excellent Dualism; now, the first single from the first installment of that diptych has been released!

It’s called, appropriately enough, “New Horizons,” and you can check it out via the below lyric video. I can’t imagine any Textures fan not digging it deep: Textures have been playing djent since before djent was a djenre, and they still do it better than pretty much any of their peers. This is definitely the Textures you remember and love.

“New Horizons” will appear on the first of Textures’ two new albums, Phenotype, which comes out February 5 on Nuclear Blast; the second of the albums, Genotype, will follow in 2017.
