Bleeding Through’s Brandan Schieppati Returns with The Iron Son
Now-former Bleeding Through frontman Brandan Schieppati has launched a new solo project, The Iron Son. The project’s debut single, “Unleash Hell,” features guest vocals from Chris Motionless (Motionless in White, duh) and guest drums from Shannon Lucas (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder). As you can probably guess from the fact that it’s got the dudes from Bleeding Through and Motionless in White and that the moniker is a really silly, pseudo-profound Hamlet-esque pun, it’s not very good. The nice surprise is that it isn’t very bad, either — it’s basically serviceable At the Gates-core with silly tough guy lyrics (“That what you get for fucking with me!”) and lots of keyboards. So, y’know. Bleeding Through.
Unleash “Unleash Hell” below. Lambgoat says that The Iron Son’s debut album, Enemy, will be released “in the near future through Pvre Evil Records, a label co-owned by Schieppati.”
