Baroness: Drummer Sebastian Thomson Profiled in Lastest Making Purple Video
Drummer Sebastian Thomson and bassist Nick Jost are something of a mystery to the band’s fans — although they joined the group in 2013, the forthcoming Purple will be their first recordings with Baroness. Given the stature of the gig they’ve nabbed, it’s difficult to imagine that Thomson and Jost aren’t up to snuff, but it’s a fan’s prerogative to needlessly worry about a band they love.
Point being: I think you’ll enjoy this latest video about the making of Purple, ’cause it hones in on Thomson, who turns out to be a very colorful and interesting on-camera personality, and a siqq skinsman. I wanna go see him play with the band live, but I also wanna go see him play the bad guy in Bad Boys 3. He’s that kinda cat.
Check out the video below. Purple comes out December 18 via the band’s own newly formed label, Abraxan Hymns. Pre-order packages the record are available now here, on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. The band hits the road in Decemeber; get dates here.
