I think “nothing worse” is pushing it a bit (off the top of my head, things that are worse than theft: homicide, genocide, the music of Disturbed, assault), but yeah this blows.

Somewhat more helpfully, Mr. Root’s ladyfriend, Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia, had this to say:

Including the serial number! SO SMART!!! Musicians: learn from Scabbia’s example.

In other news: I had no idea that Lacuna Coil call their fans “Coilers.” I guess it’s better than “Lucunites.”
