Halloween Gets A Little Heavy In Windhand’s “Two Urns” Video
The video for Windhand’s “Two Urns” has been a long time coming. The band even teamed up with horror merchants Bloody Disgusting to give one lucky fan a chance to design a poster for the video. Well, today the wait is over. You can watch “Two Urns” below.
And you should definitely do so, as the video is worth the hype. Set on Halloween and telling the tale of a group of thugs who might have bitten off more than they can chew by attacking a group of childhood friends, it’s incredibly well-shot, and has a great late ’70s/early ’80s horror vibe to it. Fans of Suspiria and Sometimes They Come Back will love the old-school references and atmosphere, but fans of modern doom will get a stoney kick out of this little horrific vignette.
Watch “Two Urns” below. Windhand’s latest, Grief’s Infernal Flower, is out now on Relapse. Happy Halloween.
