Metallica Lobby Hulu for a New Season of Metalocalypse

Sometimes, Metallica do something really lame, like make a 3D movie, or make a new album, or make a new album with Lou Reed, or let Lars Ulrich play drums. But sometimes, they can still be really cool.

Case in point: the band have thrown their weight behind the MetalocalypseNOW campaign, which aims to get Hulu to revive the show for one final season.

Metallica’s support for the revival of Metalocalypse shouldn’t be too surprising: both James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have voiced multiple characters on the show, including Lorkey the Sailor (Hetfield) and — no joke — the Queen of Denmark (Hammett).
