Fuck Yeah, There’s New Ketzer Material On The Way

If you don’t know German thrashers Ketzer, you should get into them post-haste. Any modern vest-wearer worth his salt will love these guys, though fans of more depressive and dynamic stuff will also find stuff to love. They’re like a nihilistic Witchery. Here’s their last album, Endzeit Metropolis:

Sadly, the band hasn’t released anything since 2012–until now! Ketzer will be releasing a new 7″ named Starless this December. Says the band:

“You have waited for years to hear some new Ketzer material – so here it is. Back in December 2014, our new record ‘Starless’ started to take shape in our minds and we tracked down some tunes in our rehearsal room. These demo recordings offer a rare glimpse into the beginnings of the work on our third album. We burn forever. Burn with us!”

So, sadly, it’s not a full-length record, but hopefully it heralds one. In the meantime, one can take solace in the fact that one of the best modern metal bands out there is continuing to put out new material.
