Breaking: Slayer Ate a Booger

While specific details are sketchy and we are still waiting on back-up sources to corroborate what evidence is currently available, MetalSucks have received word that a member of Slayer has eaten a booger since the release of their latest album, Repentless.

The news came late last night, when an industry tipster revealed to us that a member of the Big 4 thrash titans picked his nose and, after flicking several other boogers therein, bit one booger off of the underside of his fingernail.

The source, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said they saw the member of Slayer pick his nose outside of their tour bus during a recent show:

“And then [the member of Slayer] totally [ate a booger].”

Already, members of the metal community have responded to these allegations with both support and outrage for the band. Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor was quoted with the following:

“What [is this world possibly coming to]? Who [could believe that a band as legendary as Slayer could possibly commit such a heinous and controversial act?]”

The members of Ghost have not commented as of the writing of this post.

Slayer’s publicists have responded to our inquiries with the following statement:

“These claims are feral and unfounded in the utmost. If any member of Slayer placed their finger or fingernail in their nostril, it was one to deal with an itch on the inside of the nasal wall and in no way an act of gold-digging.”

Obviously, this comes as a massive shock to the members of the metal community, especially those fans of Slayer involved in the anti-mucophagy movement, this author included. Slayer have always been my favorite band, so to find out that one or more members of such a celebrated band flicks and even eats boogers is disheartening to say the least.
