Man Finds Snake in His Amp, Rocks Him Out
Since moving to Denver, one of the things I’ve noticed is that spiders, bugs, and other animals get into everything. Sure, in NYC you have the occasional rat or cockroach — or bed bug, if you’re sidewalk-shopping crustie — but in the big southwest you have critters trying to make your home their home all the damn times.
David Prince discovered this the hard way when he found a snake living in an amp he bought at the flea market. But rather than call an exterminator or commit a foolhardy act with a pair of tongs, David did the only sensible thing: he rocked the snake out. And lo and behold, as he played the snake emerged, lightly headbanging along to David’s riffage (makes sense, given that snakes do a lot of their communication through vibrations in the ground).
Watch the video below. Thankfully, the snake doesn’t look very poisonous, so the whole ordeal ends with David shooing it away with a broom rather than going to the emergency room in a poison-filled abscess on his face.
