Official: Vocalist Derek “Demon Carcass” Rydquist Has Re-Joined The Faceless

As rumored, The Faceless have been re-joined by their original vocalist, Derek “Demon Carcass” Rydquist. “The Spiraling Void,” the new song the band debuted last night, marks Rydquist’s first recording with The Faceless since 2008’s Planetary Duality.

The PRP broke the news after they spotted this lil’ social media exchange:Bassist Brandon Giffen, who also played on Planetary Duality and 2006’s Akeldama, is also believed to have re-joined the group, along with guitarist Justin McKinney from The Zenith Passage. And, of course, guitarist/vocalist/mastermind Michael Keene ain’t goin’ nowhere. We dunno who is playing drums yet.

The band hits the road with After the Burial, Rings of Saturn, and Toothgrinder in November — dates are at the same link I just posted in the last sentence but here it is again anyway in case you’re that lazy.
