Do You Hate Slipknot? Learn How You Can Make Corey Taylor Retire!

I am an unabashed Slipknot fan, but I know there are people out there who hate them because they wear costumes and have a DJ and make more money than Yog Sogolgoth or whatever. So, my fellow Slipknot fans, I warn you — this article is not for you.

Slipknot scorners, on the other hand, will be delighted by this news: Corey Taylor has revealed the circumstances that would lead to his retirement!

In a new interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal, the vocalist was asked about the recent rumors of an Appetite for Destruction-era Guns N’ Roses reunion. Mr Taylor’s thoughts on such a possibility?

 “I will believe when I buy the ticket, let’s put it that way. I mean, because nobody gets more excited about the thought of the ‘Appetite For Destruction’ lineup coming back together… That would be … I mean, there you go. I mean, dude, I would retire from touring, because I wouldn’t want to go up against that. You know what I’m saying? And then I would follow them like I was a Deadhead. Like I would just go to every show.”

So there you go, haters! If you wanna break-up Slipknot and/or Stone Sour*, all you need to do is get GN’R back together. People have been throwing money at that band for twenty years trying to get them together and it hasn’t worked so far, but maybe you’ll have better luck?

*’Cause let’s be real, Slipknot and Stone Sour could try to keep going with new singers, but it probably wouldn’t work.
