Slayer and Cult Movie Stars Collide in “Repentless” Video
Hey, did you know that there’s a new Slayer album out today? Weird that there hasn’t been much publicity surrounding it. Hm.
Well, hopefully this new video for the album’s title track, “Repentless,” will FINALLY get the band some attention. Probably helpful in that regard: directed by BJ McDonnell (Hatchet III), the clip features a ton of actors with cult followings, including Danny Trejo (Machete, Con Air), Tyler Mane (the first X-Men movie, Michael Meyers in the Rob Zombie Halloweens), Derek Mears (Jason Voorhees in the remake of Friday the 13th), Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior), and Sean Whalen (who you will recognize immediately from years of film and commercial work). FUN BONUS FACT: the video was produced by Felissa Rose, star of the 1983 slasher classic Sleepaway Camp, a movie which is very near and dear to our hearts here at MetalSucks.
Check out the video below. It may be considered NSFW for violence, although nothing in it is as unsettling as that one Cattle Decapitation video or whatever.
Repentless is out today on Nuclear Blast. Stream it at the bottom of this post and/or get it here.
