Nunslaughter Drummer Suffers Stroke, Needs Your Help

Sad news: Nunslaughter drummer Jim “Sadist” Konya suffered a stroke earlier this week. He’s currently hospitalized, and while he’s apparently awake and alert, he’s having trouble with speech and movement.

Friends of the band have set up a GoFundMe page on which you can donate money towards Jim’s medical expenses, which will no doubt be pretty hefty. You can also keep up with his status on the band’s Facebook page.

I was actually talking to some of the guys from Nunslaughter and Konya’s other band Schnauzer in Cleveland this past weekend, and they were fucking cool dudes. They spoke highly of Jim, if I remember correctly. Point is, Konya is a much-loved member of a ton of awesome underground bands, and it would be kind of you to help him pay his bills.

More on this as it comes, though hopefully Jim will just get better and that’ll be that.
