Let Maserati “Rehumanize” You
The release of space rock outfit Maserati’s forthcoming album Rehumanizer will come almost exactly three years after their last, Maserati VII. It’ll be their third album following the passing of powerhouse drummer Jerry Fuchs in a freak elevator accident in Brooklyn, and the second without any of his involvement. But the Athens, GA band proved with Maserati VII that their creative nucleus was still plenty capable of delivering high-octane, danceable jams, and if this new track “Rehumanizer II” is any indication, they’re not letting up any time soon.
Noisey has the premiere of “Rehumanizer II,” which you can stream below. It’s got all the hallmarks of classic Maserati: a pulsating groove, delay-soaked guitars, a cinematic approach to songwriting full of peaks and valleys, and melodies that’ll transport your consciousness to a planet far, far away. In short, it’s fantastic.
Rehumanizer comes out October 30th via Temporary Residence and can be pre-ordered physically here or digitally on iTunes.
