Five Finger Death Punch Guitarist Zoltan Bathory Disputes Domestic Violence Claims Against Singer

Earlier today, we reported on claims that TMZ had obtained divorce documents from one Holly Smith against Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody, in which Smith claimed that Moody had put her in a jiujitsu hold and beaten her.

Now the plot thickens, as FFDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory just tweeted the following:

Which obviously opens up a whole new can of worms.

On the one hand, Smith is not mentioned on Moody’s Wikipedia page, which you figure a famous singer’s wife would be. On the other hand, if you Google image search ‘holly smith ivan moody’, you find multiple pictures of Moody posing with the same blonde, most which come from the Twitter or MySpace of a Holly Smith.

Right now, we’re just… so very confused. Maybe this Holly Smith is a crazed fan pretending to have a relationship with Moody? Maybe they’re estranged, or Bathory wasn’t aware they’d gotten married? But wouldn’t Moody be worried about the fact that he had either a) a weirdo stalker posing as his wife or b) a wife he couldn’t tell his bandmates about?

Point is, we have no idea what’s going on. We’ll let you know if we find out.
