New Track “Kestrel” Shows Scale the Summit’s Other Slope
Say, did you catch Scale the Summit’s recent music video for the new track “Stolas?” It was very funny, a welcome change for a band that usually comes off as vv serious even though their music can be so positive-sounding and uplifting.
Today the band released a new song called “Kestrel” via Substream Magazine. There’s no goofy video to accompany it, but that doesn’t change the fact that the song is still super rad. It’s a bit more sad-sounding and morose than Scale the Summit’s usual fare, but that’s a welcome change: though I adore StS to pieces sometimes their songs can seem to blend together, and that is certainly not the case with “Kestrel.”
Check it out below. New album V will be released on September 18 via Prosthetic Records and can be pre-ordered physically and digitally.
