The Sword Pay Homage to Woody Allen on “Mist and Shadow”
Is The Sword’s new song “Mist and Shadow” a tribute to the Woody Allen film Shadows and Fog? It must be, right? I mean, The Sword had to know that the song title would remind all three of their fans who give a shit about Woody Allen about his 1992 film, which is to say nothing of the fact that i) The Sword are from Texas, and Texans are Allen’s target audience/bread and butter, and ii) Shadows and Fog co-stars Madonna, long know to be The Sword’s second-biggest influence, after Black Sabbath.
So, there ya go. I could be imagining things, but I doubt it.
The Sword’s new album, High Country, comes out August 21. You can pre-order it here.
