Publicist UK, Please Don’t Go “Away”
Man, this Publicist UK album! The more I hear of it the more of I love it, not just because it’s so different from what we usually cover — and because each song I’ve heard so far is different from one another — but because it’s just good! It’s heavy yet it’s not, it’s serious but it’s light, it rocks but it also slow jams… it’s that rare record that hits you in all the right pleasure points, the G-spot and clitoris at the same exact time.
The supergroup featuring members of Revocation, Municipal Waste, Goes Cube and Freshkills just released a new song called “Away” (with a music video, via Billboard), and it shows a more pensive, slower side than the previous two tracks that’ve been released, but one that we knew had to be there, lurking beneath the surface. Check out the video for “Away” below, and stream “Levitate the Pentagon” and “Cowards” if you like what you’re hearing.
Forgive Yourself comes out on August 21st via Relapse. Pre-order it on physical formats here and digital here.
