Judas Priest Announce North American Tour with Mastodon
If you’ve never seen Judas Priest live, you need to reconsider your life priorities immediately. A Priest show is everything you want from the metal concert experience–diehard fans dripping in studded leather, old folks with war stories of a million past shows, young fans getting drunk and going apeshit, and Rob fucking Halford singing “Living After Midnight.”
What’s interesting is that Judas Priest have just announced a slew of tour dates with Mastodon. And while that’s a cool bill, it does raise the issue of Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds recently saying he fucking hates heavy metal. One wonders if drummer Brann Dailor’s recent explanation of Brent’s statement wasn’t prompted by the fact that his band is about to tour with the most heavy metal band on earth.
Anyway, raise your fist and yell at one of the dates below.
10/16 Paso Robles, CA – Vina Robles Amphitheater
10/17 Las Vegas, NV – The Pearl
10/20 San Francisco, CA – The Warfield Theater
