Listen: Lamb of God Featuring Deftones’ Chino Moreno – “Embers”

Guys, I have heard Lamb of God’s Sturm Und Drang, and I love it! It’s easily the band’s best album since Sacrament. (I know some of you don’t like Sacrament. Some of you are dummies.) I dunno if the experience of almost losing Randy Blythe just lit a fire under the band’s ass or what, but it’s been a minute since the wrote riffs this tasty, and while they don’t deviate that far from the classic LoG sound, there are jjjjuuusssstttt enough unique flourishes to make it stand apart.

Case in point: the newly released “Embers.” For the most part, it’s the Lamb of God you know and love… but then Chino Moreno’s characteristically dreamy vocals kick in near the end, and suddenly, it’s a whole different beast. Listen:
