We are Forever “Spoiled” by Battlecross Live Shows (and This New Song)

After seeing them play last night in Brooklyn I was reminded of the following: Jeez Louise, Battlecross are a great live band! Sure, their records have all been killer, but I feel like you can’t fully get Battlecross until you see them do their thing on stage. They’re just so much FUN! And they have so much hair! And they have so much fun with their so much hair! And they’re tight as a really tight thing! It’s everything a metal show should be. So if you’re not already a Battlecross convert make sure you go and check ’em out in the flesh; they’re on tour now with Crowbar and Lord Dying.

The new Battlecross album Rise to Power comes out August 21 on Metal Blade (pre-order); so far we’ve heard a ripping tune called “Not Your Slave” and now this new one today, “Spoiled,” via Loudwire. It’s got a bit more a light-hearted vibe, musically speaking, than most of the band’s stuff, but as stated above… Battlecross are all about fun, right? Enjoy.
