Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime, Featuring Geoff Tate, the Voice of Queensrÿche’s Operation: Mindcrime, Releases Trailer for New Album The Key
Hey… you wanna see something really scary?
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, WHAT THE SWEET MOTHER OF MERCY IS THAT FUCKING THING?!?! Unless you live in the movie 28 Days Later, that is going to be the most horrifying thing you see this week.
The reason for headshot of a guy auditioning to play Henchman #6 in Only the Good Die Hard? It’s time to start promoting The Key, which is the new (I guess technically debut?) album from Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime, featuring Geoff Tate, the voice of Queensrÿche’s Operation: Mindcrime (so desperate is Tate to make sure everyone knows he was in Queensrÿche that even his logo is deliberately designed to resemble that of his former band). It also speaks volumes about why Tate continues to be such a joke: he’s trying SO HARD to be hip (“Look, I’ve got a mohawk! Look, I know what a USB drive is! Look, I endorse the waxing of men’s chests!!!”), and he just, y’know, isn’t.
Watch the trailer for The Key below. It sounds like The Beatles if The Beatles were from New Jersey in 1990 instead of Liverpool in 1960. Frontiers will release the record on 9/18, although if you ask me, this, and not Slayer’s Repentless*, should come out on 9/11.
*Actual title of the album.
