Becoming Black Metal: “The Rainbow’s Dead To You, Son”

Joey Siler has a history of hilarious metal parody animations. He’s the guy who created Phil Anselmo’s Cooking Hostile and explained to us how Korn got their name. Now, Siler’s created a cartoon showing fans the easy steps to Becoming Black Metal.

To be fair, black metal is an easy target (so are Korn and Phil, for that matter), what with the face paint, the armor, and the fact that no dude is a lava-spewing hellgoat when they step offstage. But Siler’s down-home instructions via black metal cowboy Duke Onyx are pretty fucking funny, especially when applied to the hairless high-voiced mamone in the video.
