FINALLY, I Get to Type the Headline “Watch the New Trixter Video”
When I first got a press release about Trixter releasing a new album, Human Era, my first thought was, “Wait, does that really say TRIXTER?!?! They’re still around???” I guess I underestimated the band’s popularity… I make no bones about loving hair metal, but even I never got into Trixter, who made Poison look like Mayhem.
(In Trixter’s defense, they’re from Paramus, New Jersey, which is one of the shittiest places on Earth.)
But they are still around, and they did release Human Era a couple of weeks ago on Frontiers (because what other label would release a Trixter album in 2015? Napalm?), and now they’ve released a video for the title track, which you can watch (presumably out of morbid curiosity) below. The video is actually really depressing, both because the song is boring, and because the images constantly contrast Young Trixter with Old Trixter, the latter of whom — spoiler alert! — have not aged gracefully.
Trixter. In 2015. For really reals. Wow.
