TOMORROW: Heavy Metal Happy Hour at Over the Eight, with Special Guests Candiria, Presented by MetalSucks and Metal Injection

One of the best things about living in New York City is that the co-heads of MetalSucks and Metal Injection live here, so if you’re really, really, really lucky, you might get to party with us! And the odds of that happening have just increased: we’re teaming up with Brooklyn bar Over the Eight (“From the owners of Saint Vitus!”) to bring you a Heavy Metal Happy Hour on the last Friday of each and every month!

For the third incarnation of HMHH we’ve wrangled the members of legendary NYC metal outfit Candiria into a special guest DJ set. What will they spin? An eclectic mix of metal and non-metal alike, to be sure, but the only way to found out is to come and hang. More details here.

As usual, wells and drafts will be 2-for-1 from 6pm-9pm, and it’ll only cost you $5 for a beer/shot combo all night. Huzzah! So come get sloshed with us, won’t you???
