What’s more extreme than a Gojira live show? Not a whole lot.

So it’s no wonder that Gojira bassist Jean-Michel Labadie needs something EXTREMELY extreme to unwind when he’s not ripping faces on stages all across the globe. In this incredible, pro-shot, HD clip, Labadie starts atop a mountain in the Valloire Bike Park, in the French Alps, and completely lets loose, heading through brutal but absolutely gorgeous terrain that the rest of us would probably prefer to enjoy on a leisurely hike.

Watching this is making me nauseous. The one time I went mountain biking I had a fantastic time, but those steep, boulder-covered downhills… man, that shit is not for the faint of heart. Respect, Jean-Michel!
