Cattle Decapitation Announce New Album The Anthropocene Extinction, Release New Song “Manufactured Extinct”
Three words: Fuck. In. A.
We knew that Cattle Decapitaiton’s new album was done, but now we know a whole lot more about that album. Like that it will be called The Anthropocene Extinction. (This is what “anthropocene” means. Don’t feel bad, I didn’t know the definition, either.) And that it will be out August 7 on Metal Blade. And that you can pre-order it here. And that features guest appearances by Phil Anselmo, Author & Punisher’s Tristan Shone, and Bethlehem’s Jürgen Bartsch. And that it has siqqqqqqqq album art, which, in typical Cattle Decap fashion, is equal parts gross and droll (I am SO getting a human piñata for my next birthday party!):
But wait! There’s more! The band has also released “Manufactured Extinct,” the first single from The Anthropocene Extinction (incidentally, it’s also the opening cut on the record). It is, unsurprisingly, quite savage, and suggests that Anthropocene will be another feather in Cattle Decapitation’s decapitated cap. Listen listen listen:
August 7! Can’t get here soon enough! Mark it in your calendars! BUY IT!!!
