Every Time I Die Vocalist Keith Buckley is Writing for Comedy Central
“Metal Musicians Transitioning Into Writing Careers Day” continues with this lil’ nugget of news: Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley will be now be writing for Comedy Central. No, I am not making that up.
Says Buckley of the gig (via The PRP):
“I will be writing a Comedy Central digital sketch with Rob Fee (twitter.com/robfee) and writer/director Brandon Dermer (brandondermer.com). Brandon is currently fulfilling a residency at Comedy Central as their head writer/director for digital one offs. me andBrandon are also working on several other projects together. this is my official statement. I fucking hate talking about myself.”
Adds Fee:
“A bit of exciting news: Comedy Central brought me on to start writing sketches for them, along with my lovely pal Keith Buckley. I can’t wait for you guys to see them, which will be difficult not to because I am personally going to write the urls on pieces of construction paper and mail them to each of your respected homes.”
Although this news may seem kinda odd, it’s actually not: Buckley recently wrote his first novel, and his Twitter account is a total riot. Here are some samples just from the past few weeks:
I got so drunk last night that I tweeted something sincere. how fucking embarrassing.
