Wife of Former Nevermore Drummer Van Williams Diagnosed With Stage III Ovarian Cancer

Former Nevermore and current Ghost Ship Octavius and Ashes of Ares drummer Van Williams’ wife Dore Williams has been diagnosed as having Stage III ovarian cancer. A GoFundMe page has been started to help cover all costs associated with her treatment.

According to that page, set up by her brother William Rhoades, Jr.:

My sister Dorraine Williams, known to her friends as Dore, was diagnosed on April 16 with stage III Ovarian Cancer.  Dore is still undergoing tests to confirm where else the cancer has spread however she is having surgery on Thursday April 23rd.  Quickly after her surgery, she will begin an aggressive chemotherapy plan that will continue for as long as necessary. 

As of this writing, the page has raised over $14,000, but medical bills skyrocket faster than Axl’s blood pressure when he sees a hot dog stand, so be sure to continue donating as much as you can.
