Randy Blythe and Dave Grohl Help Teenagers Kill Time
Well, this sounds fun: Teenage Time Killers, a seemingly-forever-in-the-works new project from Corrosion Of Conformity’s Reed Mullins, My Ruin’s Mick Murphy, and producer/engineer John “Lou” Lousteau (Stone Sour, Shadows Fall, Danko Jones) will finally release their debut album this summer: the cheekily-titled Greatest Hits Vol. 1 comes out July 31 on Rise Records. Yes, that Rise Records. It seems weird to me, too, but whatever, just go with it.
As you might expect from a band started by three dudes who are all connected up the wazoo, Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is going to feature a metric fuck-ton of special guests, including Jello Biafra, Corey Taylor, Mike “IX” Williams, Tony Foresta, Nick Oliveri, Tommy Victor, Lee Ving, Mike Dean, Woody Weatherman, Greg Anderson, Pat Smear…
…and some dudes named Randy Blythe and Dave Grohl, both of whom appear on the album’s skull-crushing debut single, “Hung Out to Dry.” You can check it out below!
