If You Listen to One New Song Today, Listen to Secrets of the Sky’s “Three Swords”

I got lazy this year and didn’t file an entry into our annual Albums That Will #$@&%*! Your Face Off series, in which MetalSucks staffers each choose one forthcoming album from a lesser known band that we predict will blow the doors off the metal world in the coming year. I also didn’t wanna tamper, because my pick, Secrets of the Sky, were in the midst of label negotiations, and the band had already been so kind as to share their finished album with me (insider trading). Thankfully my buddy Anso DF is a long-time champion of the band and took note of their new deal with Metal Blade, who surely have the power to get this band where they need to be: in every single metalhead’s playlist.

Today you all get to hear what we’re all so hyped up about with “Three Swords,” the first track to be released from new album Pathways. Secrets of the Sky are one of the bands that are really unclassifiable, which is probably why we like them so much, so I’m just gonna shut up now and let the music do the talking. Stream below.
