Ghost Ship Octavius Explore the “Mills Of The Gods”

Following last year’s successful Kickstarter campaign, Ghost Ship Octavius, the supergroup featuring guitarist Matt Wicklund (ex-God Forbid, ex-Himsa), drummer Van Williams (ex-Nevermore), and vocalist Adōn Fanion, have at last released their self-titled debut. And it was worth the wait! Melodic, proggy, and totally epic, as we’ve noted before, GSO definitely pulls heavily from Williams’ old band… which is in no way a bad thing (especially since there is no more Nevermore). Also in no way a bad thing: listening to Wicklund shred ’til his fretboard lights on fire.
