Kaliya’s “The Exiled” Will Knock Your Block Off

In  the mood for some s00per-br00tal metallic hardcore? Check out the newly released, self-titled album from Dallas’ Kaliya. As is the case with groups like Nails and Xibalba, Kaliya’s mission statement seems to be, “First and foremost, stomp the listener like a roach beneath a boot.” And like Nails and Xibalba, they succeed at their goal:  the music on Kaliya burns like a handful of sand in your eyes.
