Fan Dies at Chelsea Grin/Carnifex Show

Horrible news: according to The PRP, 21-year-old Nick Wright died during a Chelsea Grin/Carnifex/Sworn In/The Family Ruin show at the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, OH  this past Sunday evening, March 15. Although the cause of Wright’s dead is not known at this time, The PRP reports that “a number of those alleged to have been in attendance [say] that Wright apparently passed out (or had a seizure) and suffered some head trauma in the ensuing fall.” Metal Injection adds that Wright had come from Buffalo to see Chelsea Grin, but “passed out before Sworn In went on and was immediately rushed to the hospital.”

Chelsea Grin apparently acknowledged Wright’s passing in a Facebook post… which has since been deleted for reasons that are unclear. Said Facebook post had a link to a GoFundMe page intended to raise funds for Wright’s funeral… but I can’t locate that link. If anyone has it, please let us know.
