Torche Will Melt Your Banana
Torche are on the road even as I type this, touring in support of their sexcellent new album, Restarter (read our review). But if you don’t live in or near one of the markets the quartet is hitting this month (tour dates!), don’t freak out: the band has just announced a summer co-headlining run with Japan’s Melt-Banana. And this tour (unsurprisingly) is hitting entirely different towns in entirely different parts of the country. So there’s hope for you still!
Torche and Melt-Banana are both not-quite-metal bands that are super-popular with the metal set, and understandably so. This may not be the heaviest tour of the summer, but it’ll still be one of the most fun, that’s for sure.
