“Lempo”: I Actually Kinda Dig the New Korppsikolonic Track

Korpiitheklapni or Korspeedkatonki or Koripkolonic whatever they’re called have released a new song called “Lempo,” about the long lost member of The Three Stooges. I don’t usually go in for this band, but this song isn’t half-bad. It’s so redundant that it could probably be two minutes shorter, and the instrumental sections with the fiddles are so much fun that you wish they’d just made the whole track instrumental, but on the whole, I’m feelin’ it. Maybe it’s time for me to revisit and reconsider the work of Kirpeeturkoni?

The song will appear on Kokspikudonki’s new record, Nolita, which is a concept album about the fashionable neighborhood in Manhattan. It’s out May 5 on Nuclear Blast.
