Mastodon Warn of the “White Walker”

Mastodon have released “White Walker,” their contribution to the upcoming Game of Thrones mixtape,  Catch the Throne, Vol. II, which will also feature Anthrax and Killswitch Engage. (Game of Thrones fans will get the reference in the title, but for everyone else… uh, basically: zombies.) I had hoped that this song would have a really rocking section, which it doesn’t (although it does gradually get a little heavier)… but I actually still really dig it! It’s pretty different from anything the band has done before, and quite haunting. Check it out:

Catch the Throne, Vol. II comes out March 17.
