Entheos Get an Album Release Date and a Brief Tour
This whole Entheos thing went from zero to 100 in no-time, eh? The existence of the project — featuring Evan Brewer (ex-The Faceless), Navene Koperweis (ex-Animosity, ex-Animals as Leaders), Frank Costa (ex-Animosity) and former would-be Veil of Maya vocalist Chaney Crabb — wasn’t announced even two months ago, but since that time death metal fans have lost their collective shit over a series of teaser music samples while the band’s amassed over 10k Facebook fans. Yeezus! Clearly people are really into the very concept of this band. Or they just really miss Animosity. Or both. Ourselves included!
Entheos have finally revealed a release date for their debut EP Primal, which the band’s Facebook [via The PRP] tells us will land on March 15th. They also posted what looks like it’ll be some version of the EP’s cover artwork (above) and a close-up of a section of it:
AND, as a double-bonus, Entheos have announced a four-date spring tour based around their appearances at Texas Independence Fest and Atomic Music Fest we already told you about (so, two new dates). Here are those dates all together in one place.
04/07 Mesa, AZ – Club Red
04/08 Tucson, AZ – The Rock
04/10 Austin, TX – Independence Fest
04/11 Dallas, TX – Atomic Music Fest
Anyone who’s able to make it out to any of the above shows, please let us know how they are. If the limited performance Koperweis and Costa did at the NAMM Show is any indication, they’re gonna rip.
