Hoods’ Mike Hood Says “Even the Emo Kids” Know Victory Records’ Tony Brummel is “a F*cking Spineless Coward”

That Victory Records founder and head honcho Tony Brummel’s business practices are questionable (to put it very nicely) is no secret — he’s already had public spats with plenty of bands who claim Brummel owes them royalties (to say nothing of his public spats with other other record labels).

The latest former Victory artist to take aim at Brummel is Mike Hood, frontman for the hardcore band Hoods, who has posted the below on Facebook:

I don’t really know what to say about this… I feel for Hoods, but I doubt the band will ever see a dime of the money they’re owed, and calling Brummel out like this isn’t gonna do anything besides make the dude angry. And Hood implies that he’s not doing it just to call attention to Brummel’s shadiness, since “everybody knows” already. So I guess Hood just needed to vent?

I guess we’ll see if Brummel responds or not. If I were him, I’d probably keep my mouth shut and let this blow over, but then, if I were him, I’d pay my goddamn bands already.
