Ex-Veil of Maya Vocalist Brandon Butler Declares War with Lost Origins

Former Veil of Maya vocalist and future boxing ring announcer Brandon Butler has joined Lost Origins, which is not the name of a new prequel series to Lost, but, rather, a new band featuring four former members of I Declare War. Basically, the Audioslave/Velvet Revolver/Wovenwar of I Declare War.

Butler had previously guested on the band’s track “Fault Tolerance,” a song which really makes me feel nothing. It could be by any number of deathcore bands, but it’s not irritating the way a band like Oceano is. It’s like background music for Whitechapel fans to listen to while they do chores around the house.

No word yet on when Lost Origins will release their debut.
